Saint Lucia is a Caribbean Island, located in south Dominica and North Barbados, Tourism is Saint Lucia economic main source of jobs and income the island generates 65% of the gross domestic fund. Saint Lucia is a member of important organizations such as The United Nations, World Trade Organization, Eastern Caribbean State and Association, and the Caribbean Community.

Saint Lucia is one of the Caribbean islands that facilitates the process of having a second passport through Citizenship by investment options; there two programs of Saint Lucia the first one is the economic investment (National Economical Fund) its main purpose is to fund governmental projects with a sum of USD $100,000, the second option is Real Estate investment as the applicant must invest in an approved property from the government with a sum of USD $300,000, you can resell your property after five years of purchasing your property.

The investor can obtain a passport within 3 months, and can enjoy visa-free travel to 120 countries that include China, Russia, and the European Union, there is an agreement between Saint Lucia and EU so the citizens can have easier access to international and inter-region countries; Saint Lucia also makes facilitates the process of having your second password, there are no requirements regarding the interview, you can have a dual citizenship and there are no foreign income taxes, and more.

There are some requirements that should be considered before the main applicant and his family apply to Saint Lucia Citizenship; the main applicant should be above 18 years old, with an outstanding character, should be in a good health, and has no criminal record. The children of the main applicant who are aged below 18 and unmarried children and in a full-time education who are aged below 25 years old, and children who are disabled mentally or physically, and parents and the grandparents of the main applicant who are fully supported by him/her.

After the investor purchases the property the applicant and his family should be receiving a registration certificate, then submit it to the passport’s office, the passport will be valid after 6 months from the date the applicant and his family members enter Saint Lucia.

There are several types of Saint Lucia’s passport which contains civilian’s passport, which is issued for the citizens of Saint Lucia, the second one Is the official passport that is for the government officials, and the last one is Diplomatic Passport that is issued for authorized members who represent Saint Lucia.
