Dominica has started operating the program in 1993 to provide additional funding to their developing sectors, through creating specifically targeted funding projects that benefit directly from the CBI revenues, these projects are targeted towards public sector projects, restoring the country’s infrastructure to cope with any repercussions from Hurricanes or any other natural disasters, and to grow the country’s ecotourism industry and green energy projects. The Citizenship by Investment program has been a successful major contribution to the country’s overall budget and economy.
