Investors interested in obtaining Grenada citizenship by investment must meet the investment requirements, in addition to personal requirements such as being at least 18 years old, having a clean criminal record, and being in good health. The program requires applicants to go through several stages, as follows:

First stage: Application preparation

The first stage of this program involves selecting a licensed international marketing agent and communicating with them, such as Reach Immigration. This agent is responsible for submitting all applicants’ requests to the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Committee in coordination with licensed local service agents. Agents assist applicants in preparing and submitting the required documents.

Applicants at this stage are required to complete the necessary forms and submit specified personal documents and proofs. In the case of real estate investment, they are required to reserve the property through a sale and purchase agreement. Additionally, applicants must pay the security audit fees for themselves and family members included in the application.

Second stage: Application submission

After the international marketing agent submits the documents to the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Committee, the committee initiates security audit procedures on the received documents to ensure their accuracy.

Additionally, external entities contracted by the government conduct security audits on the applicants. These procedures typically take around 60 days.

The third stage: Approval receipt

After receiving the security audit report from external security audit firms, the committee decides to accept, reject, or defer applicants. The committee issues instructions to the relevant minister, who then issues a letter of approval, rejection, or deferral according to the committee’s directives. This letter is sent to the applicants to inform them of the outcome.

It is worth noting that all dependents aged 17 and over are required to undergo a mandatory virtual interview.

The fourth stage: Investment transfer

Upon receiving the preliminary approval letter from the Citizenship by Investment Committee, applicants are informed to complete and transfer the investment amount either through the National Transformation Fund or by completing the real estate purchase procedures. Applicants are required to provide evidence of completing these procedures by presenting payment confirmations. In this case, the committee issues citizenship certificates indicating the applicant’s acquisition of Grenada citizenship. These certificates are later used by the service agent to apply for Grenada passports on behalf of the applicants.

The fifth stage: Citizenship certificate receipt

Following these steps, the primary applicant receives Grenada citizenship along with a passport valid for 5 years, which can be renewed through the Grenadian embassy or an authorized agent such as Reach Immigration.
